This was shot with the following f2,8 1/100 ISO 400 using 70-200mm @ 115mm. This allowed the camera to blur out the wire of the cage and free the monkey. Such a sad expression on its face, a look of longing possibly for the outside or maybe just lunch.

Great shot in difficult situation. Congratulations. You've captured this capuchin really well and the focus is superb. That cage posed an enormous problem. Their Expressions were great - the way they seemed to raise their eyebrows then frown made you think they were wondering about everything around them (specially us, gawking and clicking!).

I had read about this technique before the photo shoot and was keen to try it out. It only works if the wire is black, that is, not reflective. After a quite a few shots, this one came out. When I got home and saw it on my computer, it made my day.
